A Simple Bible and You

What is it about a Bible exactly for the believer? Could it be that it is as it says? “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17) And what about having the ability to have a Bible in a particular English version, and with the exact cover you want? Is that not a wonderful thing? Sure it is. But let us stop and think for a moment…

What about those, and when I say those roughly a great majority of people, who do not yet have a Bible? What about the 1,800 languages that are still have not been translated? While owning a fine Bible is a wonderful blessing, let us not forget those who have yet to touch one. Continue reading →
